PubMed: Create an IWU Filter
Step One: Create an NCBI Account
Learn about getting an NCBI Account (National Center for Biotechnology Information).
NCBI has moved to 3rd party sign-in, so you may access it via your Google or Facebook account.
Step Two: Create an IWU Filter
From the My NCBI main page, select PubMed from the dropdown menu, then click on Add filters for selected database.
Search for Indiana Wesleyan under the Linkout Category.
Checkmark the filter and icon boxes, and your new filters will appear in your list.
Step Three: Viewing Only IWU-Owned Results
When signed in to NCBI, you can now filter results in the right facet to only those available at IWU.
With this filter in place, the user can toggle between viewing all results and viewing only the items available at IWU.
Step Four: Accessing IWU Content through PubMed
Open an article record and click 
for the full text of the article at IWU.
