Your results list will generally look like this:
The first result will be a Topic Page, if available for your subject. This page includes the encyclopedia entry, any images available, alternative definitions, related topics, and selected databases at IWU that can be automatically searched.
A standard encyclopedia entry is below. Some can be very long, others very short and everything in between. The word count is always given on the results page to give you an idea of the length. Links to related entries from the same title may be given as well.
You can save entries by clicking on the "Save" button to the left of the entry within the results list or the opened entry. You can then view your saved entries under "Saved Results" in the bar across the top of the screen.
You have the option to email or print your results or you can export the results to one of a number of citation management tools or save the citations or full-text of your entries to a file or your clipboard. When emailing or printing you have the option of using APA, MLA, Harvard or Chicago styles.
There is now also the ability to "bookmark and share" entries on social media sites such as facebook and twitter.
