Basic Search

The basic or simple search is performed in the Search box across the top of the page labeled Search for.   You can simply type in your search terms and hit enter.  This database does assume an 'AND' between terms.  Click on Help for more information on searching wherever you are in the database.

Once you have performed a basic search from the homepage you have the option on your following searches to choose a subject area in which to search via a drop-down to the right of the search box.  Credo will then only search within its resources in that subject.

You may also narrow your search by using the limiters on the left side of the screen.  There are more limiters available than these shown, including Media, Person and Publication date.
