GROUP STUDY ROOM POLICY
The Jackson Library group study rooms are available to groups of two or more IWU faculty or students on a first come, first served basis.
The group study rooms are for group use only. Individuals using a group study room may be asked to move to an individual study space available in carrels and tables located throughout the Jackson Library.
The group study rooms may be reserved up to 14 days in advance for groups of two or more IWU faculty or students by going to: library.indwes.edu/studyrooms . If the room is not needed, reservation cancellation is greatly appreciated.
The group study rooms may be reserved for up to 2 times or 2 dates in advance.
Beverages with spill-proof lids are permitted in the group study rooms; however, food is not permitted.
Each group study room is equipped with the number of chairs that the room is to accommodate. Chairs from nearby study spaces are not to be moved to increase that number.
The group study rooms lack sound proofing. Sensitivity to the need for quiet is required in order to avoid disturbing other Jackson Library users.
The group study rooms do not lock. The Jackson Library is not responsible for unattended items left in the study rooms.
Materials such as network cables or dry-erase markers may be checked out at the Jackson Library Circulation Desk.
Students not in compliance with these guidelines may be asked to vacate the group study room and may be barred from future group study room use.
