Lord. Life is chaos, and in it, I find myself forgetting who you are. In the busyness, in the stress, I lose sight of you. I pray that I will not forget. Give me tangible reminders to seek after your heart. Give me a desire for you, so deep and powerful that it drives everything else I do. Do not let me be ashamed to show this, do not let me wait for others to lead. You have worked in mighty ways, but the best is yet to come.

I want to love you as you love me

Lord–
I want to be used now. I don’t want to wait until I’ve “learned” enough to contribute. I want to talk to people. I want them to see you in me now. I need not be selfish with my time but instead, find a way to glorify you. I want to love you as you love me.
Do what is possible with men
So sorry for when I limit your work in my life by not being open to your power. I want to pray a “sun stand still” prayer with my life – asking you to do what is possible with men. With you all things are possible. Be with the leaders of our country, present and future. Let us be a nation that seeks after you. Deliver us. Protect those on the East Coast being hit by the hurricane. You have calmed storms before, let us not doubt your ability to do it again. Draw me close to you.

Dear God,
I am seeking you. I’m looking + wondering where you are when I am crying + sad. My friends know you so well. I too want that. Show me your love, compassion, + light. Bring that into my work. Guide my choices so they are glorifying to you!

Father, let your sons and daughters keep falling in love with you in a way they never have before. You want them to include you in their plans, just as we want you to include us in Yours. If their hearts are ready, give them the knowledge they are in search of. If they are not, prepare their hearts. There are those of us who care. Keep searching for Him!

Abide in Jesus!
There is a beautiful relationship awaiting you! Focus on Him throughout your day. Think about Him as you would of any other friend or significant other. He wants to be close to you and love you. Let Him! Go spend time with Him. Go kick it with Jesus.
Don't be discouraged when things don't go your way
The Lord has new plans for you. You get a new beginning each and every day. Every sunrise is a new beginning. He has new growth for you. Don’t be discouraged when things don’t go your way. This is a new opportunity for you to grow.
