Prayers for the Campus

Would you radically ignite students for your Kingdom?

12-14-18

There will be a house of prayer at IWU

It may not be a physical place, but this is the vision that has been spoken to me for the past 1.5 years — what if we had a place where prayer never ceased? What if we, as a body of students + faculty simply never stopped praying and interceding for our community and our university? Prayer changes things radically. So God, would you radically intercede on this campus? And even over Christmas break would you begin to stir in people’s hearts, that they may be led to pray at odd hours for people they know and don’t know. God, would you raise up intercessors in Jesus’ name! Would you radically ignite students for your Kingdom? Do something! Whatever it takes. I am radically yours.

Let community be the center of this campus

Father,

I pray that you would let community be the center of this campus. Thank you for all you’ve given to us. May we realize all you’re doing. I pray for productivity & [...   ….] in the coming weeks for everyone. Would you give us places to rest in your presence Holy Spirit.

In your name Jesus

Amen

Would you make them so fearless that this campus is overwhelmed with your light and joy

8.22.18

Powerful Lord,

Today I lift up the student leaders on campus training right now. Would you do a work that is so radical within them that they can only point to you? And as they serve, would you make them so fearless that this campus is overwhelmed with your light and joy. Above all, I declare that these men and women are becoming people of your Word and of prayer. May we radically and fearlessly depend on you. Apart from you we are nothing.

Radically yours

A house of prayer for all nations

My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations. May it be so.

May the spirit of John 17 and Luke 18 fall and break into IWU! Amen!!!

We need you only you!!

Jesus come

Response: yes Holy Spirit come

As finals and everything else happens

Lord,

I pray for all the students this week as finals and everything else happens. This is a rough time for many, but let them, and me, know you are near. Please be with all who are going home. You know their situation(s) and you know mine. Please bring comfort, peace, and strength. Please keep everyone safe.

Thank you for being who you are. You are beautiful. Awesome. Amazing. Thank you for every little thing you’ve done for all of your creation. You deserve all the glory and praise. I love you.

Dear God,

I ask you to come to those who will [write] in this book and meet their needs. Give them hope, life, and a deeper, more beautiful relationship with you. Send them people who will love them and shine your light, opportunities to grow closer to you, love you more dearly, and shine your light. Give them hope from the dark times, joy in the sorrow, and healing from the brokenness. Guide them. Speak to them and teach them how to listen. Teach them how to seek and follow you. Help them to remember both your might & magnitude and your love and mercy.

Bless all who see these pages

Your loving servant

You are welcome here

Holy spirit

You are welcome here

Come FLOOD this place

And fill the ATMOSPHERE

Jesus, I welcome you into this campus. Speak to each person so individually. Let this become a place where your spirit can dwell. In us. In chapel. Everywhere.

Prepare our hearts for the mighty and beautiful things you will do in this next school year.

Humble us, God.

Make us nothing

That you may be everything.

Amen amen.

Take our campus and use us

[Hymn] Take my life and let it be, consecrated Lord to thee. Take my heart it is thine own, it shall be thy royal throne, it shall be thy royal throne.

Take our campus and use us. Take our chapens and move us. Take our students and change us. Take our priorities, rearrange us.

Amen and amen.

Capture the hearts of the students

Yahweh, my one hope

You astound me. You are always faithful to me, even when I doubt your voice.

I’m so in love with you. Let that be enough, let all the other loves fade away.

Lord God – I am asking for this, a holy fire poured out on IWU. Capture the hearts of the students. Let the intensity of the presence of the spirit bring people to their knees. I pray in expectation. Your servant

I pray that IWU will be a light into a world of darkness

2-6-06

Father,

I thank you for making this place. So many brothers + sisters here that you love – it’s wonderful. I pray that our quest for you won’t ever stop and that you will challenge us daily. God, I pray that IWU will be a light into a world of darkness. Get us out of our comfort zone and reach the people you’ve created. Everyone needs to hear of you! May we all be filled with your power, never timid, Spirit this week. We do this only to bring glory to you.

In Christ’s precious name. Amen.

Let our campus love the son like You love the son

Lord, I’m asking for even more of Your glory, love, & power be released at this last night of summit! Let the words of my mouth & meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock & my Redeemer.

Father, let our campus love the son like You love the son! Let that be the cry of our hearts everyday! God of glory, give us a spirit of wisdom & revelation of the knowledge of Jesus’ beauty! Have mercy! We love You!
